The choice of base cloth for container bags is the first step in design

1. Material Selection of Base Cloth

In the design of container bags, the weight of the loaded goods is defined firstly, and the volume of the container bags is determined according to the specific gravity of the packed materials. It also depends on whether the loading material is sharp and hard block material. If so, when designing container bags, the base cloth should be thicker, on the contrary, thinner. In the actual design, the base cloth is usually (150-170) G/m2, the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base cloth is (1470-1700) N/5cm, and the elongation is 20-35%. Container bags with a load of more than 1000kg. The base cloth is generally chosen (170-210) G/m2, and its longitudinal and transverse tensile strength (1700-2000) N/5cm, with an elongation of 20-35%.

2. Improving the Strength of Single Wire

In order to ensure the strength of the base fabric, the tensile strength of the flat yarn must be increased. The relative strength and elongation of flat wire should be above 0.4N/tex and 15-30%. In the actual production and processing process, the dosage of filling masterbatch should be strictly controlled, generally about 2%. If the master batch is added too much or the recycled batch is added, the strength of the base cloth will be reduced. Therefore, the quality of raw materials should be strictly controlled, and the drawing raw materials produced by the regular manufacturers whose melting index reaches the national standard should be selected.

3. Material Selection of Suspension Belt
In the design of container bags, material selection of sling is very important. The national standard specifies the safety factor of 1:6. In practical design, the first is to consider the strength loss of the sling during the sewing process, and the second is to consider the lifting mode. For example, in 500 kg bags, lifting belts are generally selected (50-60) g/m, and the pulling force is (1300-1800) N/m; in 1000kg bags, the pulling force is (60-75) g/m and (1800-2100) N/m, which requires the lifting belts to meet the requirements of braiding density. In addition, when designing the suspension belt, two or four rings can be chosen to increase the tensile strength.
